BUSINESS MODEL AND USE CASE
Travel information and direct communication
Tripshaper serves travelers researching Indonesia and independent Indonesian travel providers who want to be discoverable and answer traveler questions.
Tripshaper provides digital information, planning, directory, and communication tools. It uses a contact-only reservation model: travel arrangements and payments take place directly between travelers and providers. Tripshaper does not act as a travel agency, tour operator, transportation provider, or payment processor.
Tripshaper may offer sponsored placement or paid visibility to providers. It does not sell personal information or use Google identity information for advertising.
OPTIONAL ACCOUNT ACCESS
How Tripshaper uses Google Sign‑In
Google Sign-In is optional. Travelers and providers may instead create a Tripshaper account with an email address and password.
If a user chooses Google Sign-In, Tripshaper uses the user’s stable Google account identifier and verified email address only to create, connect, and sign in to a Tripshaper account. The public Google profile name is used only to suggest a Tripshaper username, which the user may change.
Tripshaper does not receive the user’s Google password and does not request separate access to Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other Google account content. It does not use Google identity information for advertising, credit decisions, or training generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
PUBLIC ACCESS
Explore before creating an account
Tripshaper’s public map, destination information, and travel ideas can be explored without signing in. An account is used for participatory features such as posting, commenting, maintaining a profile, and communicating through authenticated areas of the application.
